Employers are legally responsible to comply with COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) legislation. This COSHH training course provides training in the main principles of COSHH. This qualification focuses on the information employees need to know and will prepare them to contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances in their workplace.
This course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) and accepted by major inspecting bodies such as HSE, CIEH and CQC.

This qualification will prepare all employees to contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances in their workplaces.
How long does the course last?
3 hours
How is the course assessed?
The course will be assessed by a multiple choice test at the end of the session. The successful candidates gaining 20 or more correct answers out of 30 will be awarded the Level 2 Award in the Principles of COSHH from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.
The assessment can take place orally for those who have difficulties reading or writing.
CIEH have now made it a requirement that all people taking the exam need to provide original photo ID. (e.g. passport or driving licence).
How much does it cost?
£65 per person. Discounts available dependent on numbers.
How long is the certificate valid for?
3 years.
