Land Manger position
Our client, a well-established house building company are looking to recruit a Land Manager to join their team in Byfleet, Surrey
The successful candidate will be Covering East Sussex and Kent.
Land Manager duties include the below:
- Responsible for the acquisition of sites as laid down in the annual land purchase programme and to manage the land department staff under his/her control.
- Responsibility for building up and maintaining all possible contacts with agents, local authorities, vendors and others and to see that these are regularly contacted by members of the land team.
- Hold regular meetings of the land team and attend all meetings of the Company as may be required from time to time and be available for any other related duties which may be required by the Managing Director/Land Director.
- Examine and approve all information submitted in support of any site purchase and check all detail and correspondence including visiting the site. Send copies as appropriate, to the Managing Director/Land Director.
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
Car: Company Car or Cash for Car at £6000 p/a
Pension: 6% company contribution
Holidays: 25 days + BH + 1 x day off on birthday if a working day
The successful candidate must have experience in a house building, planning or agency environment. Some computer literacy including use of spreadsheets is essential. Qualifications required should be ‘A’ level standard or equivalent. An RICS or MRTPI or similar qualification preferred.
