Branch Manager required in Derby- Competative Salary
Our client, one of UK’s largest independent specialist drainage contractor is looking to recruit a Branch Manager for their office in Derby.
The company have a turnover in excess of £150 million, over 1900 people and a country wide network of branches.
About the role:
Our client are seeking a Branch Manager for their drainage division to be responsible for its day-to-day running and leading the expansion of the division to provide the full range of drainage services to their domestic and commercial client base.
The role has responsibility for planning, mobilising, managing reactive attendance crew's and planned maintenance crews across a range of maintenance and emergency drainage related projects.
You will ensure that the branch sales levels, costings and controlled spending levels are achieved to enable the operating teams to meet customer demand, hit productivity targets and achieve profit budgets. Supported by Administration, Sales and Operations teams this role requires a leader to steer the team on a successful path as well as having a hands-on approach.
The ideal candidate will have experience in dealing with service delivery sometimes at short notice in a reactive environment for a multiple and diverse client base leadership and management experience, commercial and sales knowledge along with the ability to manage profit and achieve targets. You will have a great focus on customer service and an understanding of a reactive service delivery industry.
The Branch Manager needs to be organised and reactive to the needs of a varied client base in the Industrial, Commercial, Retail and Domestic sectors amongst others. You will have experience in identifying new business markets and organising local Marketing to grow and expand the client base locally.
Knowledge of health and safety is essential, and experience within the drainage, construction, civil engineering, waste or utilities, service industry or reactive maintenance industries would be an advantage. You must also be IT literate and hold a full driving licence.
