PASMA Training Course
PASMA stands for “Prefabricated Access Suppliers and Manufacturers Association” and is the HSE recognised body for training in mobile aluminium access scaffold towers. The PASMA Course will teach the current relevant legislation and instruct individuals to dismantle, erect and inspect mobile access towers safely, as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
Individuals completing the course successfully will receive PASMA Certification and ID Card (valid for 5 years).
During this course staff will learn about:
- Introduction to mobile access towers
- Regulations and standards
- Components and hazards
- Tower assembly
- Stability and safe-use of towers
- Repositioning towers
- Tower inspection
- Care and maintenance
- Tower dismantling
Who PASMA Training Courses for?
The PASMA course is aimed at people within organisations that work with Mobile Access Towers whether alloy or fibreglass. The whole purpose of PASMA Training Course is to create a good mix of classroom based theory with practical hands-on training. PASMA raises the awareness of common hazards and the necessary precautions that must be taken when using Mobile Access Towers.
